Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the website at https://www.sortrature.com (the “Service”) operated by Sortrature (“Sortrature”, “us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, whether or not they create an account.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. Acceptance of the Terms

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Sortrature concerning your use of the Service. The Service includes the website, pages, articles, images, interactive features, newsletters (if offered), and any related content or tools we make available at or through https://www.sortrature.com. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

We may also post additional guidelines or policies for specific features; those terms are incorporated by reference and control for that feature if they conflict with these Terms. You must be able to form a legally binding contract under applicable law to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

2. Accounts and User Content

Some parts of the Service may allow you to create an account, subscribe, comment, submit forms, upload media, or otherwise provide information (“User Content”). When you create an account or submit information, you must provide details that are accurate, complete, and current. Failure to do so may constitute a breach of these Terms and may result in suspension or termination of your access.

You are responsible for safeguarding any credentials used to access the Service, including passwords, and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized that activity. You agree not to share your password with any third party. You must notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

You retain any ownership rights you already have in User Content you submit. By submitting User Content, you grant Sortrature a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting and display), publish, publicly display, and distribute that User Content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Service, for as long as it remains on the Service and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, archives, and legal compliance.

You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to submit your User Content; that it does not infringe third-party rights; and that it complies with these Terms and applicable law. We may remove or refuse to display User Content where we believe it violates these Terms or creates risk. We do not claim ownership of third-party content that appears under license, commentary, attribution, or embedding.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, branding, design, compilation, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Sortrature and its licensors. This includes, without limitation, text, graphics, logos, icons, images we own or license, layout, and the selection and arrangement of materials on the Service.

Our trademarks, trade names, and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent, except for accurate, non-misleading references to Sortrature or the Service that do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

Content published on the Service may include material created by Sortrature, material licensed from others, and material that discusses or displays third-party works for editorial, news, commentary, criticism, or informational purposes. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any third-party intellectual property to you. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, republish, sell, or commercially exploit Service content except as expressly allowed by these Terms, by a separate written license from us, or by applicable law (including fair use or similar exceptions where they apply).

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us with enough detail for us to locate the material and evaluate your claim, including your contact information, a description of the work, the URL of the allegedly infringing material, and a statement made in good faith that the use is not authorized.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with others’ use and enjoyment of the Service. Without limiting the foregoing, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
  • Post, upload, or transmit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or invasive of privacy;
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems or networks;
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach security or authentication measures, except with our prior written authorization;
  • Use automated means (including bots, scrapers, or harvesters) to access, collect from, or interact with the Service in a way that imposes an unreasonable load, circumvents access controls, or violates robots directives we publish;
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or interfere with the proper working of the Service;
  • Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or unsolicited commercial messages;
  • Collect personal information about other users without their consent; or
  • Use the Service to develop or train competing products in a manner that violates these Terms or applicable law.

We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take other action we consider reasonably necessary to protect the Service, our users, or third parties.

5. Disclaimers

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sortrature disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that: (a) the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; (b) defects will be corrected; (c) the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components; or (d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.

Editorial content on the Service—including articles about art, design, crafts, lifestyle, culture, and related topics—is provided for general informational and entertainment purposes. It is not professional advice (including legal, medical, financial, safety, or design-professional advice). You are responsible for evaluating information before relying on it, and for following applicable laws, safety practices, and manufacturer instructions when attempting any project or activity described on the Service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions above apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Sortrature, its owners, operators, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to: (a) your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (c) any content obtained from the Service; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (i) the amount you paid us, if any, for access to the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose, or (ii) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

The limitations in this section apply whether the claim is based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Links to Other Websites and Third-Party Services

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, embeds, social platforms, marketplaces, or resources that are not owned or controlled by Sortrature. These links are provided for convenience or editorial context only.

Sortrature has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, terms, availability, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Sortrature shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites or services you visit. Your dealings with third parties—including purchases, downloads, or account creation—are solely between you and the third party.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account or access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason we reasonably determine is appropriate, including without limitation if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued access would create risk or harm.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to stop using the Service, you may discontinue use and, where account deletion tools are available, request closure of your account.

All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including without limitation ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity obligations (if any), and limitations of liability.

9. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least thirty (30) days’ notice before new terms take effect, such as by posting an updated date on this page or providing notice through the Service. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.

10. Governing Law and General Provisions

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the applicable laws of the state in which Sortrature principally operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence require otherwise.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Sortrature regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements regarding the Service. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets.

Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship. Headings are for convenience only.

11. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms of Use, please contact Sortrature through the contact methods published on https://www.sortrature.com.

Continued use of the Service means you accept these Terms governing your relationship with Sortrature online.
