Short Animation: Caminandes

Caminandes is a short animation created by Pablo Vazquez, Beorn Leonard and Francesco Siddi at the Blender Institute. The story is based on the struggles of the main chracter Caminandes, a tiny little llama. Its style is so similar to Tex Avery Looney Tunes from the 1940-50′s so it will just take you back to your childhood. This is the second one of the series and the project is still going on.

What does it mean?
“Caminandes” is short for “camino/caminar” (Spanish for path/walk) and Andes –the longest continental mountain range in the world, usually referred as the ‘spine of South America’. The southernmost region of the Americas is called Patagonia, where Pablo is from.
