Olek’s Latest Crochet Installations in San Francisco

Since her last crochet installation “Locomotive in Poland“, Olek kept crochetting and invited to  San Francisco by John Law to cover giant doggie heads formerly used as mascots of the Doggie Diner. As a young and famous artist, Olek chose crochet art installations as a way to comment on the economic and social realities of the variety of communities she been part of, to bring color, energy and surprises to the spaces we live in.
